Beloved by all, LINK’s annual mural workshop is back – in pieces!

Southern Resident Orcas are one of the most critically endangered marine mammals in the United States. The symbolism used in this mural brings awareness to the beauty of these majestic creatures and the challenges they face.

Each student will be sent acrylic paint and one wood panel, individually etched by guest artist Xerxes Irani. The shapes on each wood panel will all connect together to form a complete image representing three generations of real orcas native to the Pacific Northwest.

Xerxes will tell us about his own design journey, and we’ll work together in large and small groups on Zoom to bring each panel to life!

Note: Please RSVP by Sunday, May 2nd in order to receive supplies.
