Beloved by all, LINK’s annual mural workshop is back – in pieces! Each student will be sent acrylic paint and one wood panel, individually etched by guest artist Xerxes Irani.
In this workshop, students will learn the principles of three-dimensional design and paper craft hand-building techniques with guest artist, Scott McCall.
AIGA Link is thrilled to have Angelina Villalobos leading our Mural workshop.
Join former LINK Student and present day San Francisco based artist Chelsea Wong as we adorn 200 square feet with a lasting piece of public art in her inimitable style. Located in SODO at The Canine Club, this is a work that will be seen by the entire city.
Students will generate a variety of expressive lines and marks during a guided exercise, and learn about the impact of repetition and movement.
This is a large-scale painting that will be brought to life in the color and painting of each individual artist.
Students will play with light and shadow techniques as they manipulate hand-crafted Kakimoto Washi Paper around a standing or hanging light pedestal of their choice.
This workship involves sculpting a food/creature mashup; things like turtles with a burger instead of a shell, an octopus in a cone as an ice cream scoop, candy corn mice.
Students will explore shape, texture and balance while creating hanging sculpture.
