Sign painting

Cho, a local sign painter, will introduce the world of signage to students showing the possibilities of what job opportunities there are out there. After the introductory segment, we will then begin drawing letters with the end result being a one letter sign of their own. This workshop is a hands-on opportunity to learn the basics of lettering and signage.

About the artist

Yoonmi Cho is a Seattle-based sign painter/artist that preserves time-honored methods while adapting them to the modern day world through her work in signage. Cho brings a traditional practice to elevate a necessity everyone uses everyday: signs.
